Subject: Maxium Solutions is now Skipton Group
LEADING IBM BUSINESS PARTNER OPTS TO CHANGE COMPANY NAME
Richmond Hill, Ontario - May 1st, 2008. Maxium Solutions announced today that effective May 1st, 2008 the official company name would become Skipton Group Inc. Under the new banner of "Skipton", the company will remain essentially unchanged, with the same ownership, structure, location and staffing.
Commenting on the name change, the company issued the following statement from their three principals (Rob Seager, Paul Bruce and Bruce Danforth). "We’ve had a plan to change our company name for the past few years, to decouple ourselves from the Maxium brand that we inherited from the previous owners in 2003. We feel the time is right to move on to this new brand of Skipton Group, now that we’ve established ourselves as a pillar in the IBM Business Partner community in Canada."
