With a management buyout in early 2003, the executive team of Maxium Solutions acquired 100% of the shares of the company. Each offering a unique set of skills and experience, the three Principals of the company are committed to delivering consistently high levels of support to an ever expanding client base, as the owners and executives of Skipton Group.Bruce Danforth - During his 30 year career with IBM Canada, Bruce honed his IT Professional skills throughout the evolution from mainframe-centric to today's Open Systems architectures. In 2001, he established Danforth & Associates, with a focus on the design and implementation of Information Technology solutions to solve critical business problems, across multiple industries. Bruce brought his expertise to Maxium Solutions in 2001, providing leadership to the company's technical professionals in their execution of both pre-sales and post-sales engagements.
Paul Bruce - Paul's formation of Skipton Associates in 1997 established the Skipton brand as an IBM Reseller. His 25 year career with IBM Canada included early roles in Finance, followed by 20 years in large account sales and senior sales management. Post-IBM, Paul held General Manager positions with Unisys Canada and led an application development start-up company until its successful sale to an offshore organization. A co-founder of Skipton Group, his leadership of the sales and marketing operations of the company has established Skipton as one of IBM's most successful Business Partners in Canada.
Rob Seager - Rob was involved in the establishment of the business in 1998, and has architected its growth into one of IBM's top Business Partners in Canada. During a 16 year career with IBM in Canada and the United States, Rob held various management roles in Sales and Finance. He was instrumental in the founding of IBM's Leasing Company in Canada in the late 1980's, and the creation of IBM's Used Equipment Remarketing business internationally. Rob left IBM in 1996 to become the Senior Vice President of Comdisco Canada, the worlds largest independent Leasing and Disaster Recovery organization.
